Breaking: National Assembly(Senate) Gets A New Minority Leader, chief whip.


The Nigerian Senate today, the 21 of June 2022 appointed the lawmaker representing the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Philip Aduda, as the new Minority Leader of the Senate to occupy the sit of Senator Eyinaya Abaribe.
Reports from Politics Nigeria recounts that Aduda replaces Senator Eyinaya Abaribe (Abia South) who recently left from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA)
The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, announced the appointments while reading two different letters ratified and signed by the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party Samuel Anyanwu.
The Senator, Chukwuka Utazi was also nominated as the Minority Whip of the senate to occupy senator Aduda’s preceding position.
Remember that the seat of the Minority Leader became unoccupied following the defection of Senator Abaribe (Abia South) from the PDP
